Well guys.. we have three days before our posters are due and I am very happy to announce that we have completed ours already and are almost finished editing our movie :)
Our group now only consists of Tayla and I.. so I guess we're a pair actually :)
Last Monday (during the holidays) we worked on our storyboard and then got to filming :)
After hours of bloopers and mistakes we finally had enough footage to call it a day. We took photos for our poster and then organised a time that suited us all to get together and start on the tiring editing process.
This past Monday Tayla and I went to our friend, Chris Kunz's house and he tought us a few things about editing and we managed to get through the first half of our movie.
We laughed and laughed at all of our bloopers and made decisions regarding how our film will ultimately look.
We finished our poster as well and arraged to finish editing this weekend.
We have learnt so much in this process and are SO excited to see the end result and to watch everyone elses movies :)
I'm sure they will be BRILLIANT!!
English exam tomorrow.. better get revising :)
Ninz xx
Sounds like you guys are all super organised - that's great! I've decided to crash on your comment space as my invitation was to the wrong blog (absolutely mortifying!) anyway here's my very first contribution:
ReplyDeleteI've had this report ready and waiting for ages so is really old news but I've just accepted my resent invitation so here it guys... albeit a bit late!
Blogging... WOW, it’s quite a new but definitely thrilling experience to write knowing that a lot of people might end up reading this :) (thank you Mrs Orpen!) To our film: Preparation for it started rather unconventionally; forget brainstorming or script writing, the first thing our group (Alessia, Helen, Robyn, Zaakiyah & I) did was recruit our “name” – the audience attracting actress who would convince masses of people to watch our film. Only after we got the nod from our actress (who shall remain nameless for a sort-of surprise) did the brainstorming start.
We brainstormed individually first then collaborated to come up with a rough plot which we then turned into our final script. We’ve started preparing our poster which has turned out to be way more fun than I’d anticipated. The next step is to work on our story board and then get filming :) I feel a bit like I’m babbling now and I can no longer quite remember why I didn’t start this blogging-on-our-progress thing earlier... my fear of blogs has officially been faced :)
