Hey everyone!
We are really enjoying this project and have some awesome ideas!
It is going to be a suspense with a lot of drama, keeping you on the edge of your seats!!
We have already worked out our story board and have also decided on the characters.
All that we still need to do is film.
We can't wait to see what you guys have done, it's sure to be amazing!!
We hope that you are ready for this, because you'll be biting your nails the whole way through...
Lots of love
Tammy and Astrid

It's been a while since my last update, so I've got a few points to make.
ReplyDeleteWe handed in our posters today after a complete and mind-blowing learning curb with Jessica's mom(thank the heavens for Mrs Simpson=))and photoshop. I'm glad to say that our poster is AMAZING! Kiara's a brilliant photographer and the rest of us are brilliant critics=)
On the filming side...it's been an adventure really.
My first discovery was that the storyboards seemed like a HUGE task, were actually easy, but not that useful when we got the filming(though I now can see how far we've come from that)...as soon as we started filming at kbosch we saw the difficulty in our ideas when it came to lighting, angles and storyline...we had to rely on the sun-so waited around for a while until it was the same as in the beginning of our session and found REALLY innovative ways to shoot angles that the professionals out there need cranes for=)
We finished the filming today because we needed the depressing weather...we got a tad rained on, but it was fun=)
Thanks to Mr Bodenstein in the first term of our Physics education, we realised that in order to film a reflection in the water, we would need to be on the opposite side of what needed to be reflected. I actually remembered that!
I have to tell you though...egyptian geese are no fun at all. They kept splashing around in the water for no reason and rippling the water!
My verdict? Between the birds, the sun, the clouds, getting into a cemetry and finding a bridge that wasn't too dangerous, ours took a lot of time, laughing, thinking, frustrations and walking. A lot of walking! But we had a whale of a time doing it, despite the sadness of our story. We learnt a lot and applied a lot of learning that would otherwise have been useless. We even found a few lemons on the way=)
Hope that everyone gained something from this, I think that that may just have been the most important part of this, whether it was for academic use or not. I know I did.
Keep rockin' 10RADS!
